What is processed when you paste a public Steam link or sign in through Steam.

Local routing and live details

Your browser parses public Steam links and builds destinations locally. For live details about a profile, game, Market item, group or Workshop item, and for the name behind an opaque Market item code, it sends that public Steam address to this site’s Cloudflare Worker. The Worker reads Steam’s public pages and APIs, and FACEIT, Leetify and CSRep for profiles, and caches what it reads. Images in those details load from Steam and FACEIT. Other pasted links are not sent. A copied share link encodes the canonical public Steam URL; opening it sends that share URL to this site.

Optional Steam sign-in

Signing in is optional and happens on Steam, so this site never sees your password. Steam confirms your SteamID to the site, which keeps it with your public name and avatar in one signed cookie for 30 days; signing out deletes it. While you sign in, a second cookie holds a random check value for at most ten minutes. The site never asks for an API key, trade URL or session value, and uses no other cookies, local storage, session storage or advertising scripts. Page views are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not follow you to other sites.

When you open a link

Following a destination sends that URL, including its resource identifier or search query, to the destination site. That site’s privacy and security policies apply. A contextual Contact link sends only its small provider, route and category query to this site; report text stays in the browser until you choose to email it.
